Description

Caustic Soda is a white solid substance with the chemical formula NaOH. It is highly soluble in water, with a lower solubility in polar solvents like methanol and ethanol. Caustic Soda is used in the manufacture of paper, textiles, detergents, soaps, etc.
We provides Caustic Soda and other
raw chemical materials such as
Sodium Nitrate,
Soda Ash, and Ammonium Chloride for various industrial applications. Additionally, We provides customers with other chemical products including
Nitrocellulose,
Nitrocellulose solution, organic
solvents, etc. for further information please contact our technical sales team in Our Company.
What is Caustic Soda?
Sodium Hydroxide, also known as Caustic Soda and lye, is an inorganic compound with unique properties suitable for different applications. It is an alkali (a type of base that can neutralize acids) and can cause chemical burns. So, operators should use personal protective equipment when using this substance. Plus, it can absorb moisture and carbon dioxide from the air.
Our Caustic Soda can be manufactured in three different forms including: Caustic Soda pearls, Caustic Soda flakes and Caustic Soda lye liquid. The most common form of this product is caustic soda flakes.
Caustic Soda pearls
Caustic Soda pearls or granulated Caustic Soda is composed of white grains, suitable for filtration applications. This type of Caustic Soda is produced by a caustic soda solution filtration through mesh grids. The size of particles in this group is about 0.6-0.8 mm. Caustic soda pearl can resist temperatures up to 80 °C.
Caustic Soda flakes
This grade of Caustic Soda is produced with 99.9% of purity. It is produced by Evaporation of caustic soda solution. The size of particles is about 0.8-1.2 mm. It is used mostly in Manufacturing Soap, Detergents, Paper and pulp.
Caustic Soda lye liquid
Caustic Soda liquid (also known as Caustic soda 50% and Lye solution) is a colorless liquid which is produced via electrolysis of Sodium Chloride solution. The desired concentration of caustic soda in the solution is 50%. however, depending on your applications, it can be thinner by adding water.
It has various applications in different industries such as water pH regulation, refining of cooking oils, bleach manufacturing, and fruit cultivation.
